So at the nudging of Jeff, we’ve finally gotten around to starting up this podcasting thingamajig (or whatchamacallit, if you prefer) and it took a bit longer than expected, but here we go.
It took about three tries before even getting to this point. And to be honest, this isn’t exactly going to sound like The Fan. Let’s put it this way: I forgot to switch my audio input on the computer to my actual external microphone (which I made the arduous trip to Best Buy yesterday to purchase) until after the show recording was over. It’s the little lessons you learn that are the most valuable, I guess.
In our inaugural episode, we invited Chris from SlowStates.com to join Jeff, Tim and myself to discuss the renewal of the Pitt-Penn State rivalry, which wandered into a conversation on scheduling across the board, and eventually a bit of the coaching world. The show runs a few seconds short of a half-hour, so take a listen when you have some time to kill.

“I mean, they’re close to Ohio.”
I really can’t remember any of it. I feel like Frank in Old School after pwning James Carville.
Did I mention how much I hate the sound of my own fucking voice? I’d say it’s like a cross between a female, Michael Jackson, and Justin Bieber’s. I’m 27 years old, btw, so I’m essentially like the Ralph Macchio of bloggers.
Nice job. I think the Pitt buzz wore off when it was known they were the fall back for when Miami fell through, which was, by far, the more exciting opponent.
