Week 8 is in the books and if it was not for Wisconsin's late heroics we would have swept the week. This week gets a little more difficult.

Random Commentation
Mike
Indiana has a ridiculous passing game with Ben Chappell, but without Darius Willis (out for the year) in the running game, it will be tough to beat Northwestern. The Wildcats were THIS CLOSE to beating Michigan State, but I don't expect a letdown against the Hoosiers. Illinois is still improving each week, but the Purdue game scares the hell out of me. Everything says Illinois should win. Purdue got hammered into dust in Columbus last week. This could be a closer game than it looks going in. Ohio State will win, duh. Then there's the big one in Iowa City. I like the Hawkeyes. The fan in me wants the Spartans to win, so they come into Happy Valley undefeated on Senior Day. But Iowa, at home, is just one bar too high. I won't be shocked if Sparty wins, but I'm not expecting it.

Indiana is an intriguing pick to beat Northwestern it could most definitely happen but I'll take the men in purple. I think Illinois is playing better and Purdue just got humiliated and the Boilermakers are quickly running out of things to play for. The MSU – Iowa game is a tossup but I just have a feeling it's Sparty's year. Ohio State – Minnesota isn't even worth mentioning.
