Here are our bowl picks, right on time for tonight's Insight Bowl.

With all the holiday stuff going on, we are down to just two pickers this time around. But despair not, for we've employed a special guest--a genuine 1992 Nickel.

Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em: Week 14

The regular season winds down with only one game left on the Big Ten docket. Of course what would be the point of us just picking one meaningless game so we decided that it would be a lot more fun to take a poke at the conference championships as well, because we all know you are betting big bucks in Vegas on our wonderful prognostication skills right? RIGHT?!?! Ok, never mind.

Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em: Week 12

Last week was a challenging week, who would have thought Minnesota would beat Illinois? None of us got that right. Who would have thought Northwestern would beat Iowa? ME that's who! Boooyaaah! With that prediction I've tied things up with my fellow prognosticators here at Linebacker-U at 59-15. Considering we all have that score and Linebacker-U is sitting at 60-14, I'd say we've managed to squeeze out the most possible wins with our picks. Good for us. Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em: Week 11

Week 10 is in the books and Linebacker-U nailed all the right picks except Michigan, but really, if you predicted that game you need to quit your job and move to Vegas pronto. That game could have easily gone in either direction and was really quite enjoyable to watch. Unfortunately, because I didn't pick Michigan I've now dropped into last place at LB-U. MIIICCHHHHIIIGAANNNNNNNN!!! Week 11 picks after the jump.

Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em: Week 10

Week 9 went pretty much as expected and Linebacker-U would have had a perfect week if I wouldn't have sent in the wrong Penn State-Michigan pick. For some reason I thought Tim picked Michigan, but that's what I get for trying to do this stuff on a Friday night. Sorry Tim. Anywho, moving on to this week I fell back two spots thanks to Michigan State and my pessimism regarding Penn State. I've finally relinquished my grip on first place.

Week 8 is in the books and if it was not for Wisconsin's late heroics we would have swept the week. This week gets a little more difficult.

Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em week 8

Week 8 is upon us and most of the games are so bad that only one game will be played after noon. Last week there were some head scratching upsets but don't look for that to happen this week. All of us missed out on the Wisconsin surprise (damnit!) and no one saw Purdue's sudden spurt of offense with their third string QB leading the way. Let's get to the picks and as always stats and comments to follow.

Big Ten Blogger's Pick'em: Week 7

It's hard to believe but it's week 7 of the football schedule (I know, I know for some Penn State fans the end can't come soon enough). This is probably the most competitive week to date for the Big Ten and there are some interesting match-ups. Linebacker-U moved up a notch to 9th place as all of your LB-U "experts" *snicker* missed two games last week and Purdue blogger Boiled Sports was perfect (don't ask me how). As always stats and comments to follow.

Big Ten Blogger's Pick'em: Week 6

Week 6 rolls on and Linebacker-U has slipped to a disappointing tie for 10^th. We’ll have to right the ship this week although we are only 4 points behind the lead and the tough games have yet to be played. Last week we all missed Michigan State's heroics against Wisconsin but nailed the others. This week is more of the same as we all agree yet again.

It’s week 5 of the Big Ten bloggers Pick’em and Linebacker-U has set itself in a good position. As conference play begins, and the points double, LB-U is sitting in a tie for 3^rd place. This week has a couple games that could go either way so let’s get on to the picks.

Week 4 of the college football season is upon us and it’s a chance for a lot of the Big Ten teams to get a tune-up before the real season starts. When I say “tune-up” I mean it’s a chance for all the Big Ten teams to feast on cupcakes and boy do we have some sickening sweet cupcakes this week.

Big Ten Bloggers Pick'em: Week 2

Week 2 of the Big ten bloggers Pick'em is upon us and Linebacker-U did a decent job last week goin 10-1. Mike and Tim got tripped up by Minnesota (which I nailed by the way) and I get the dumb penalty for listening to a Michigan fan who ardently argued that UConn was going to beat the LOLverines. This week gets a little harder as some of the Big Ten schools actually play teams with a pulse. Oh, and there’s somebody named Alabama on the schedule, but for that game's picks, you'll have to wait and check out our LBU Staff predictions, coming later today.
