Big Ten Blogger’s Pick’em: Week 10

Week 9 went pretty much as expected and Linebacker-U would have had a perfect week if I wouldn't have sent in the wrong Penn State-Michigan pick. For some reason I thought Tim picked Michigan, but that's what I get for trying to do this stuff on a Friday night. Sorry Tim. Anywho, moving on to this week I fell back two spots thanks to Michigan State and my pessimism regarding Penn State. I've finally relinquished my grip on first place.

Random Commentation

Minnesota... ah, forget it. Michigan State wins. While I want Illinois to beat Michigan, I'm not getting a good feeling about this one. The Wolverines are completely distraught after last week, while Illinois may be due for a letdown. I'll go with Michigan, which is oddly enough, the favorite (-3.5) to win. As for Purdue and Wisconsin, I could really care less. The only benefit to Penn State would be Purdue winning here because it would help make Northwestern's loss to PU look a bit better. But that's stretching it. Badgers by double-digits. I fell bad for Indiana. If only the Hoosiers had a defense. Ricky Stanzi and the Hawkeyes were mad as hell after losing to Wisky, so they took it out on Sparty last week. I get the feeling Iowa's not done.

The Michigan game has me torn; will the Wolverines give up and let Nate Scheelhaase run wild like he did against the Boilermakers or will Michigan make one more concerted effort? My gut tells me that Michigan is on the ropes. Iowa is a lock the way they are playing I don't care if they have the biggest letdown in the history of letdowns and Minnesota gets a pissed off Sparty, good luck with that. Wisconsin plays Purdue… I don't think I have to add anything to that you know what kind of train wreck that will be *zing*
