Well, it looks I have the unfortunate task of having to write about the imminent beatdown in Columbus, where the Fighting DeChellises will take on Ohio State (6:30 PM ET, BTN).
The Buckeyes currently own an 11-game winning streak against PSU and are one of two teams that Ed DeChellis has never beaten (Wisconsin being the other). Unless OSU's starting five all comes down with the swine flu, don't expect this one to be close for longer than one half, and even if such an unlikely scenario were to occur, OSU's next five off the bench would still find a way to beat us.
In fact, if OSU lives up to their No. 3 overall ranking in Effective FG% (via KenPom) and their 53.8% home shooting average (via Eleven Warriors) this one could be decided within the first ten minutes, unless of course PSU starts miraculously 'playing above their heads' defensively by denying entry passes into the paint, getting a hand out on OSU's numerous shooters, and..What the - GINGER, NO!!!
