And so it begins, 7:30 PM ET on BTN, the final opening round matchup of the Big Ten Tournament between Penn State and Minnesota. The Gophers swept PSU during the regular season but as you all know, it's rather difficult to beat the same team three times in one year. Not to mention, this is a PSU team that's been a resilient bunch throughout the year, with very few blowout losses in Big Ten play, not your typical 3-15 team to say the least.
I really don't feel like doing a full-fledged preview here. This is still the same Gopher team we've known from before: They're tall, athletic, and will try and to press and turn this into a full court game because they're surprisingly just as inept in a half-court offense as PSU can be. And with that being said, it's time to think happy thoughts and end this blog post with my first ever iMovie experiment involving none other than Talor Battle. Hopefully he won't be forced to resort to such last-second heroics tonight...
