We're closing up shop on Week 2, with some not so kind words for ESPN College Gameday.

ESPN GameDay coming back to Auburn - Opelika-Auburn News :: So on Sunday this was announced. It wouldn't seem like any big deal, until you realize what kind of precedent ESPN is setting so far in 2010. You'll see what I mean...

GameDay belongs in Tucson - Arizona Daily Wildcat :: You know how many ranked-vs-ranked games there will be this weekend in college football? Only one: No. 24 Arizona vs No. 9 Iowa. Mind you, Arizona hasn't gotten much press, but has been very impressive so far this season, while Iowa is looking much better than most has predicted (and most had predicted an already impressive team). But where does ESPN go this weekend? Another SEC school. Until this season, the Mouse Ears did an alright job of covering its obvious conflict of interest with the SEC and national attention, but this is just getting ridiculous.

Helicopter tracks Birmingham men accused of selling phony Alabama-Penn State tickets - Tuscaloosa News :: Holy crap. Did they bring out the snipers, too?

What we learned in the Big Ten: Week 2 - Adam Rittenberg :: Is Michigan for real? Denard Robinson is. But the Wolverines kinda need a defense to win some games this year. Not that Adam wrote that. I'm just adding to it. By the way, Penn State will win eight or so games this year.

First win in Wolford era at YSU / YSU doesn’t overlook Butler :: Youngstown State is 1-0 in FCS play.

Bloggishy stuff...

Grading the Offense / Grading the Defense - BSD :: About what you'd expect after a game like this one.

The Hangover: Alabama 24, Penn State 3 - NWO :: Like I said, this is the last you'll hear about this game.

And finally...

Sad Dog Of Defeat - JDH :: Pretty much what I looked like around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Illini romp on SIU 35 - 3, show improvement - Hail to the Orange :: Illinois stuff.

The Top Ten Reasons Why Iowa Will Lose To Arizona - BHGP :: Iowa stuff.

Big Ten Stock Watch: Week 2 - MGoBlog :: Big Ten stuff.

Big Ten Power Poll: Week 2 - OTE :: More Big Ten stuff.

The M-Zone is BACK! - One of my favorite blogs makes a triumphant return.

MAC Blogger Roundtable - TFF :: Did you know they have that? Temple boys tackle MAC stuff.
