In its poorest showing in years, Penn State can claim a mere three players selected to the 2010 All-Big Ten teams. Ollie Ogbu and Evan Royster both earned second team honors, while Stefen Wisniewski, who earlier today earned first-team All-America honors from the AFCA, landed on the Big Ten's first team.

Wisniewski isn't a surprise, since he was named All-America. Ogbu doesn't really come as much of a shock either, as he was easily the most consistent defender on the team this season. But seeing Evan Royster garner second-team honors this season was a bit unexpected.

That's not to say it's not deserved, as Royster was the victim of one of the worst run-blocking offensive lines in the Big Ten, as well as a de-emphasis on the ground game by Penn State in the latter half of the season. Royster totaled 916 yards on 188 carries (4.9) in the 12 regular season games.

Seven Nittany Lions were selected honorable-mention All-Big Ten--junior safety Drew Astorino, junior tackle Quinn Barham, senior linebacker Chris Colasanti, junior cornerback D'Anton Lynn, junior wide receiver Derek Moye, junior defensive tackle Devon Still, and senior placekicker Collin Wagner.

Senior wide receiver and co-captain Brett Brackett was named Penn State's Big Ten Sportsmanship recipient.
