Big Ten unveils bland new logo, awful division names

We finally have a new Big Ten logo, as well as names to go along with the Big Ten's new divisions... and all three are absolutely horrific, embarrassing, and just plain dumb:
'LEADERS' DIVISION -- Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin

'LEGENDS' DIVISION -- Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern

After hitting such a home run with signing Nebraska, and how smoothly everything else went with this expansion process, the Big Ten has utterly choked here.

Stay tuned for more, because I'm sure there will be a ton of it.

  1. They should've just named them "John Cooper" and "Gary Moeller" if they were going to go with awful division names.

  2. How did that Dum-Dums commercial go???

    "Dum-Dum, Dum-Dum, Dum-ba-doo-bee, Dum, Dum, Dum, Dum"

Big Ten should sign Dum-Dums as a new sponsor.

  3. Jesse Palmer of ESPN got it right. This is all laughable. Most EPN commentators are stunned. I can make it simple. So simple a Michigan can do it.
Big Ten West Big Ten East
    Minnesota Purdue
    Iowa Penn State
    Nebraska Ohio State
    Illinois Indiana
    Wisconsin Michigan State
    Northwestern Michigan

Then you can argue awards and trophies etc.
