Collegian: Rob Bolden Will Stay at Penn State

According to a report by the Daily Collegian today, Rob Bolden plans to stay at Penn State.

Rob Bolden will continue his college career at Penn State--at least for now--and compete this spring and summer for the 2011 starting quarterback job, the freshman's former high school football coach told the Daily Collegian today:

“He’ll be back at Penn State Sunday and in school Monday,” Buchanan said in a telephone interview. “He expects to compete for the starting quarterback job and will go through spring practices and everything.”

While everyone will still dog Joe Paterno for not releasing Bolden, this does look like the logical move right now for all sides. I mean, the kid is a freshman in college. Remember how rash and immature you were at that age? I do, and looking at this from that angle, this is the right thing to happen right now. Have a nice weekend everyone, and I'm sure there will be more on this in the coming days.
