Update on Thomas, Stanley missing Iowa game

Chaz Powell back to defense... again?

Just a quick update to yesterday's post about Derrick Thomas, Sean Stanley, and Brandon Ware staying home for tonight's game against Iowa.

Sean Fitz reported the story first, so I wanted to give him credit for that.

Also, Fitz wrote that a move by Chaz Powell back to corner was possible, and that even Stephfon Greeen (yes, running back Stephfon Green) was taking a few reps at corner this week in practice.

I trust Fitz's reporting, so this is a very interesting development for such a big weekend. Expect a full tempest of press questions for Joe Paterno after the game, especially if Iowa's offense does particularly well against a depleted Penn State defense.
