Always for the Glory: NFL Update Week 11

Paul Posluszny looks like he's finally back. Bryan Scott teamed with Poz to help earn the Bills their first win of the season. While Deon Butler is proving why Penn State fans made all those shirts saying "Throw the Ball to Butler."

On the downside, I finally figured out what happened to Jeremy Kapinos. He was only signed to the Colts for a week, then cut. So Kapinos is done again for now.

NFC North

Chicago Bears - Chicago Bears 27, Minnesota Vikings 13

This week: Chicago @ Miami, 8:20 p.m. Thursday on the NFL Network.

Anthony Adams (1999-02), DT
Adams started at nose tackle for the Bears, recording three tackles, including one for a loss.

Robbie Gould (2001-04), K
Gould was 2-for-3 in field goal attempts, connecting on kicks of 34 and 37 yards, and converted on all three of his PATs.

Green Bay Packers - BYE

This week: Green Bay @ Minnesota, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.

Andrew Quarless (2006-09), TE
Coming off the bye week, Quarless is listed an questionable for the Packers' week 11 game versus the Vikings with a shoulder injury.

Minnesota Vikings - Chicago Bears 27, Minnesota Vikings 13

This week: Green Bay @ Minnesota, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.

Jimmy Kennedy (1999-02), DT
Kennedy was on the Vikings' inactive list for the game versus Chicago.

Derrick Williams (2005-08), WR
Williams was inactive for the Lion's match-up with Buffalo.

Despite falling to Dallas, the New York Giants' offense continued to produce. Starting in his usual right tackle spot, McKenzie helped the offense rack up 480 total yards, including 337 through the air.

Philadelphia Eagles - Philadelphia Eagles 59, Washington Redskins 28

A.Q. Shipley (2005-08), C
Shipley joined the Eagles in the 2010 offseason and spent the entire training camp and preseason with the team before signing to the practice squad.

Dallas Cowboys - Dallas Cowboys 33, New York Giants 20

Sean Lee (2005-07, 2009), LB
Lee played on special teams, making two tackles.

Dan Connor (2004-07), LB
Connor suffered a season-ending hip injury in the first half of Carolina's week nine loss to New Orleans. He was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 9. Connor had started all eight games in 2010, his first career starts in his third NFL season, and ranked third on the team with 59 tackles.

Ed Johnson (2003-04, 2006), DT
Johnson played as part of Carolina's defensive line rotation, making three tackles.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, Carolina Panthers 16

John Gilmore (1999-01), TE
Gilmore caught a season-high three passes for 52 yards, including a team-long reception of 29 yards, in the Buccaneers' win.

Deon Butler (2005-08), WR
Butler started his sixth game for the Seahawks this season, catching four passes for 66 yards, including a 63-yard scoring strike from Matt Hasselbeck in the second quarter.

Michael Robinson (QB 2002-05), RB
Robinson was on the Seahawks' inactive list for the third consecutive game.

San Francisco 49ers - San Francisco 49ers 23, St. Louis Rams 20

Levi Brown (2003-06), OT
Brown started at left tackle, protecting the blind side of Cardinals' quarterback Derek Anderson as he threw for 322 yards and one touchdowns against the Seahawks.

Tennessee Titans - Miami Dolphins 29, Tennessee Titans 17

Kerry Collins (1992-94), QB
Collins, the longest active NFL tenured Nittany Lion in his 16th professional season, started versus Miami, completing 9-of-20 passes for 51 yards before leaving the game with a strained left calf at the end of the first half. He will be sidelined for at least one week with the injury.

Tim Shaw (2002, 2004-06), LB
Shaw saw time on defense at outside linebacker, making two stops.

Indianapolis Colts - N/A

Jeremy Kapinos (2003-2006), P
Kapinos was cut after just one week with the Colts. So he will not show up in these updates from now on.

Kansas City Chiefs - Denver Broncos 49, Kansas City Chiefs 29

Scott did not start at strong safety yet finished second on the team with seven tackles, including five solo stops, and had one sack for a loss of nine yards and one pass defensed. He also made one tackle on special teams.

Jared Odrick (2006-09), DT
Odrick was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 22 as a result of a left foot injury he suffered at the end of practice two days earlier. It was unrelated to the right leg injury that had kept the 2010 first-round pick out of the lineup since week one.

Mickey Shuler (2007-09), TE
Shuler was inactive for Miami's win over Tennessee.

Cameron Wake (2000, 2002-04), LB
Bothered by a hip injury, Wake registered one tackle and one pass defensed from his outside linebacker spot in Miami's victory over Tennessee.
