Here's your weekly Penn State football alumni update, with last week's results and this upcoming week's NFL schedule. Ryan should be back in the saddle next week or one after. Student life doesn't offer much of a concrete schedule, so I'm filling in for now.
NFC North
Chicago Bears - L 23-20 vs Seattle
This week: Chicago hosts Washington, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX
Anthony Adams (1999-02), DT
Adams started at nose tackle for Chicago, recording one tackle in the loss to Seattle.
Robbie Gould (2001-04), K
Gould made 2-of-3 field goal attempts in the loss to the Seahawks, connecting on kicks of 24 and 34 yards, both in the second quarter.
Green Bay Packers - L 23-20 (OT) vs Miami
This week: Green Bay hosts Minnesota, 8:20 p.m. Sunday on NBC
Andrew Quarless (2006-09), TE
After registering his first career reception last week, Quarless earned increased playing time for Green Bay due to a spate of injuries to its tight end corps, catching one pass for 23 yards.
Minnesota Vikings - W 24-21 vs Dallas
This week: Minnesota travels to Green Bay (see above)
Jimmy Kennedy (1999-02), DT
Kennedy was inactive for the game versus Dallas.
Detroit Lions - L 28-20 vs New York Giants
This week: BYE
Derrick Williams (2005-08), WR
Williams was active but did not play in the loss to the Giants.
Bryant Johnson (1999-02), WR
Johnson came in as a reserve receiver in the loss to the Giants, catching two passes for 20 yards.
NFC East
New York Giants - W 28-20 vs Detroit
This week: The Giants travel to Dallas for Monday Night Football.
Kareem McKenzie (1997-00), OT
McKenzie started at right tackle for the Giants in the win over Detroit, helping to pave the way for Ahmad Bradshaw, who rushed for 133 yards.
Philadelphia Eagles - W 31-17 vs Atlanta
A.Q. Shipley (2005-08), C
Shipley joined the Eagles in the 2010 offseason and spent the entire training camp and preseason with the team before signing to the practice squad.
Dallas Cowboys - L 24-21 vs Minnesota
This week: Dallas hosts the Giants for Monday Night Football.
Sean Lee (2005-07, 2009), LB
Lee received playing time in the loss to the Vikings but did not make a tackle.
NFC South
Carolina Panthers - BYE
This week: The Panthers host the 49ers, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.
Dan Connor (2004-07), LB
Ed Johnson (2003-04, 2006), DT
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - L 31-6 vs New Orleans
This week: The Buccaneers host the Rams, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.
John Gilmore (1999-01), TE
Gilmore started at tight end for the Buccaneers in the loss to the Saints, catching one pass for five yards.
NFC West
Seattle Seahawks - W 23-30 vs Chicago
This week: The Seahawks host the Cardinals, 4:05 p.m. Sunday on FOX.
Deon Butler (2005-08), WR
Butler started in the win over Chicago, hauling in four receptions for 47 yards. He also found the end zone for the second time this season, catching a 22-yard scoring pass from quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in the first quarter.
Michael Robinson (QB 2002-05), RB
Robinson saw time as a reserve running back in the win over Chicago, gaining three yards on one carry.

San Francisco 49ers - W 17-9 vs Oakland
This week: The 49ers travel to Carolina (see above).
Navorro Bowman (2007-09), LB
Bowman saw action in the win over Oakland, making one stop on special teams.
St. Louis Rams - W 20-17 vs San Diego

Josh Hull (2006-09), LB
Hull tore his anterior cruciate ligament during practice on Sept. 15. He was placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of his rookie season.
Justin King (2005-07), CB
King saw action in the win over San Diego. He did not record a tackle but was credited with one pass defensed.
Arizona Cardinals - BYE
This week: The Cardinals travel to Seattle (see above).
Levi Brown (2003-06), OT
AFC South
Tennessee Titans - W 30-3 vs Jacksonville
This week: The Titans host the Eagles, 1 p.m. Sunday on FOX.
Kerry Collins (1992-94), QB
The longest active NFL tenured Nittany Lion, in his 17th professional season, Collins filled in for an injured Vince Young, completing 11-of-16 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown. In the win, Collins wrote his name in the NFL record book, moving into 10th place on the all-time completions list.
Tim Shaw (2002, 2004-06), LB
Shaw played on special teams but did not record a tackle.
AFC West
Kansas City Chiefs - L 35-31 vs Houston
This week: Kansas City hosts Jacksonville, 1 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
Tamba Hali (2002-05), DE
Hali started at outside linebacker for Kansas City in the loss to Houston but was held without a tackle.
AFC North
Cleveland Browns - L 28-10 vs Pittsburgh
Jordan Norwood (2005-08), WR
Norwood is a member of the Cleveland Browns' practice squad.
AFC East
New England Patriots - W 23-20 vs Baltimore
Rich Ohrnberger (2006-08), OG
Ohrnberger was on the inactive list versus the Ravens.
Buffalo Bills - BYE

Bryan Scott (1999-02), S
Miami Dolphins - W 23-20 (OT) vs Green Bay
This week: Miami hosts Pittsburgh, 1 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
Jared Odrick (2006-09), DT
Odrick was limited in the week of practice leading up to the Dolphins' match-up with Green Bay and was on the inactive list on game day. The rookie defensive tackle is recovering from a leg injury suffered on Sept. 12 at Buffalo.
Mickey Shuler (2007-09), TE
Shuler dressed for the win over Green Bay but did not get into the game.
Cameron Wake (2000, 2002-04), LB
Wake recorded three tackles in the win over Green Bay, with all three coming as sacks. He is currently tied for fourth in the NFL with six sacks this season.
